Today was mudding day! We had two crews go out today, and both did a wonderful job. The first four photos below are from the group that went to work on the Birere church building, and the last two are from Kabaare…

Hello Americans,
This has been a very interesting week for me and more of the Mission team. So far I’ve; eaten a grasshopper, drank the Nile {and rafted}, played in the mud, and seen more of the world in one day than I’ve seen in any singal month in Houston.
This really has been an amazing time for me. I get to go bonding with one of the “village people” {fun intended ;D} first thing in the morning, I’ll get back some time Friday evening I think. I’m kind of looking forward to that.
I have a ton of pics That i can’t wait to see. My dad will be so proud.
I’ll be seeing you guys soon.

I think about all of you every moment of each day. You are constantly in my prayers. I applaud you for loving the Ankole people in such a powerful way. The joy in your faces and the love in your smiles tells a tremendous story. God is smiling on each one of you! The blessings and life changing memories will be a gift that you will take thru-out your life … something only Jesus can give. Soak up every moment, love those people and keep praising HIS holy name! Jill

Caleb,
I’m so glad you wrote –everything sounds so amazing!
Do’nt forget to do some journaling, I want to hear all about everything!
A Verse in Colossians reminded me of this situation (it says what I wished I knew how to say):
Col. 1:3-4 “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints…”
you are always in my prayers.
love,
Janet
